Goal Setting, a Board Responsibility
It is commonly accepted that boards have four responsibilities. In no explicit order, they're goal setting, self-management, monitoring activity, and making policy. They make it tough to recruit the upper skilled and passionate staff
They encourage micromanaging by the board

If average americans were to be exposed to nuclear waste it would be considered a major scandal and get huge media attention. In Illinios, a nuclear leak 2 years ago that later amounted to nothing was all over the news. Proponents of nuclear hope, like you, that nuclear waste will never leak. I think smart engineers can solve this problem and create a safe way to dispose of waste.
